Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 7, 2026

4RGE ("4RGE", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the 4RGE mobile app and website (together, the "Service").

We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

  • Account details. Your name, email address, phone number and password.

  • Profile information. A profile photo, bio, location, sport and training preferences. Coaches may also provide qualifications, rates and availability.

  • Booking information. Sessions you book or offer, times, locations and messages sent through the Service.

  • Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive payment status and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits. We do not store your full card number.

  • Support messages. What you send us when you contact us.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Device and log data. IP address, device type, operating system, app version, pages or screens viewed, and the date and time of use.

  • Location. If you allow it, your approximate location so we can show nearby Coaches. You can turn this off in your device settings.

  • Cookies and similar technologies. Small files used to keep you signed in, keep the Service secure, and understand how it is used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Match Athletes with Coaches and process bookings

  • Process payments and payouts

  • Send confirmations, reminders and service updates

  • Respond to support requests

  • Keep the Service secure and prevent fraud or misuse

  • Understand how the Service is used and improve it

  • Send marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them

  • Meet our legal and tax obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share it only in these cases:

  • With other users. A Coach sees the details an Athlete needs to share to deliver a booked Session, and Athletes see Coach profiles.

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Service, such as Stripe for payments and providers for hosting, analytics, email and push notifications. They may only use the information to work for us.

  • Legal reasons. Where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of 4RGE or others.

  • Business transfers. If 4RGE is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of it.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to run the Service and measure how it is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, though some parts of the Service may stop working if you do.

5. Marketing Messages

We send marketing emails only in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Each one has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop service messages about your account or bookings.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information as long as your account is active and as long as needed afterwards for legal, tax, dispute and security purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Information Stored Outside Canada

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. In that case the information may be accessible to courts and authorities in that country.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete

  • Withdraw consent to marketing messages

  • Ask us to delete your account and personal information, subject to legal retention requirements

  • Make a complaint about how we handled your information

To do any of these, contact us using the details in Section 12. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
